Trying out Pictobrowser

This is a nifty little widget. Thought I'd try it out and see if I can get it to work on my blog. Apparently I can. If you want to do something similar, just click the "INFO" link and you'll get instructions.

"Elephant Ride" made me a little sad when I immediately recognized who was sitting in front of you. I well remember how you described yourselves as "twins separated before birth."

See, I shouldn't look at this sentimental stuff when it's 2:00 a.m. The wee hours are when my thoughts wander to my mom and my sister. All I know is that when I see them in pictures, I find myself wishing for just five more minutes of their company.

Yeah, this is one depressing message, and yes, I'm a bit sorry for that. If I had any conscience at all, I'd delete it instead of proceeding to the "copy this text" verification thingie below, "but nooOOOOoo," (to quote Steve Martin) I'm going to share my misery and pass it along to you.

Don't you feel lucky?

I know what you mean. It isn't just pictures that remind me of her. I took myself to the latest Harry Potter movie last night, and I can't help but think she'd have really enjoyed this series. Right up her alley. It was the same way with the Lord of the Rings movies. Suz was a h-u-g-e Tolkien fan, and she would have loved them. Though at the same time, I think she would have been annoyed with some of the liberties they took with the stories.

You know who I really feel sorry for? Her husband. They weren't even married a full year before she died.

What are you doing up at 2:30? Another deadline?
