Austin is three weeks old, and a sweetie. Ditter was holding him and rubbing his back, and he started grinning. Of course all the women said the same thing: "Gas."

Handsome baby. I'm amazed that mine were ever so small and compliant and non-argumentative. No sibling rivalry, no "I can't see the TV!"
I envy Austin's mommy until I remember the diapers and spit-up.
And then my daughter hits the button on her High School Musical doll so it sings the same snippet over and over, and I long for the days when her own fingers were entertainment enough. That stupid doll is loud.
